Jimmy Kimmel’s Rebuttal to Jay Leno’s ‘Sucker Punch’ Accusations

HOLLYWOOD, USA [OnlyInPhiladelphia.com] — Jay Leno sat down with Oprah with no studio audience because he got the Tonight Show back.

Oprah asked Leno, “You’ve made a living making jokes about other people during their difficult times, so you thought you were fair game? Even for Jimmy Kimmel, when Jimmy Kimmel was on?”

Leno responded, “We’re gonna have Jimmy Kimmel on our show, and yeah, I got sucker punched.”

Later on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE, Kimmel said, “Now I don’t know if I would characterize going on a comedy show and making jokes qualifies as a ‘sucker punch’, right, I mean? But as long as Jay’s talking about it you wanna know what the real story is, what really happened?”
