H.J. Heinz Co.-[onlyinphiladelphia.com]– It took 40 years for Heinz to finally figure out that their notorious ketchup packets, seen everywhere, sucked. But now they have announced a redesign to enhance the luxury of ketchup dipping, forever.

The old frustrating packet will now be a thing of the past, so let us not forget how harsh it was to open them while splattering ourselves with ketchup while putting it on a hot dog, burger, fries, etcetera.

On Thursday the company unveiled the new Heinz Dip & Squeeze ketchup packets for restaurants around the nation.

It is the company’s first major redesign in some 42-years. You now have two choices with your ketchup packet–

a.) peeling back the lid to dip in a food of your choice, i.e., fries & chicken nuggets

b.) tearing off a tip to squeeze onto foods, i.e., hot dogs & burgers

Heinz also announced a 15% reduction in sodium across its ketchup line.
