Brett Michaels in critical condition!

After a minor surgery last week Brett Michaels suffered a major hemorrhage in is brain leaving him almost dead!   Brett had a career revival after the Vh1 show Rock of Love stole ratings for two solid years.  In this show he got to pick a true love out of many party girls.

According to what Arno Fried, chairman of Neurosurgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey, told ABC’s Good Morning America, “The fact that he’s made it to a hospital and is apparently in some sort of reasonable condition . . . that’s a good sign.”

I would describe (Michaels’ condition) as guarded,” Fried added. “If the bleed has not caused too much damage, the possibility of recovery is quite good.”

Joseph Broderick, chairman of the University of Cincinnati’s Neurology Department, told MTV that the chances of Michaels’ survival will become much clearer over the next two weeks or so.

“Patients typically die within the first couple of days or a week from this kind of stroke,” he said.
