Fashion Up’s Summer Fashion Hits The Waterfront This Saturday With Live Performance By Dice Raw…

PHILADELPHIA — Saturday, May 15th 2010 the Fashion Up event takes stage at the newly renovated Octo Waterfront & Grille(Formerly Rock Lobster) located at 221 N. Columbus Blvd. from 9pm – 2am.  The city fashion and music gurus have come together this season to bring the city of Philadelphia a event that will leave people talking!   If you have had the opportunity to attend one of these unique events in the past, you know very well what to expect.

Feb 26th's Fashion Up event

The friends at Fashion Up are excited for the summer fashion event not only because it’s their 5th production, but that it is their first outdoor show on the waterfront.  “We wanted to take the ultimate risk and bring the event outdoors and on the waterfront.  Octo Waterfront and Grille was more than willing to host the event, and let’s just say they have been a pleasure to work with!” – says Joe Notter founder of the event.

Fashion Up is a sophisticated fashion show and an entertaining nightlife experience. With a professional runway presenting close to 30 female and male models, it is the perfect event for Philadelphia’s fashion gurus and nightlife enthusiasts. Dress to impress, as fashion is the theme of the event and the fashion police will be in full effect. Fashion Up guarantees to showcase the best in new fashion and music including top fashion professionals and celebrity DJs.

Dice Raw & Charles P. Bailey

The Fashion Up team is also very excited to have a special performance by Dice Raw.  He will perform his latest hit “2012″ featuring Charles P. Fashion:
The fashion show’s production will be conducted by two of the city’s prominent fashion professionals, Anh Nguyen and Keri Saeger. Anh is well known in the Philadelphia fashion community. Anh Nguyen is the owner of Jack and Jill Boutique in Philadelphia.

Rachel Day and Joe Notter will be the mc/announcer during the fashion show.  They will be sure to give you all the details of the fashion as it struts the runway. Rachel Day is a model, actor and a dancer with a passion for fashion. She graduated from the Art Institute in ’08 majoring in Fashion Marketing, PR and advertising.  Joe Notter is the founder of the event.
