LEHIGH VALLEY, PA — On Tuesday, a local woman was fined and placed on probation for pushing her baby in a stroller while being drunk and for past drunk driving incident on separate occasion with her 1-year-old daughter in the car.
Tami Glasmire, 38, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in Lehigh County Prison by Judge James T. Anthony, but Glasmire was immediately paroled because she had already served more than a month behind bars before Tuesday’s hearing.
Glasmire was placed on 30 months’ probation and was ordered to pay nearly $1,800 in fines. She could perform 40 hours of community service and cut the fine total nearly in half, according to Anthony’s order.
This is ABSOLUT – ely nonsense. Let this be a lesson to parents to be more responsible while taking care of their children.
