PHILADELPHIA, PA — A Septa bus crashed into a Walnut Street light pole on Thursday evening. A passenger is credited for saving lives after he had assisted the driver in guiding the bus to a gradual stop.
The driver of a Route 21 bus had a seizure and lost control of the vehicle at about 8 p.m, SEPTA spokesman Andrew Busch told philly.com.
No pedestrians or passengers were hurt.
The driver was treated at Jefferson University Hospital.
High-five to the passenger who potentially saved many lives last night!
