PHILADELPHIA, PA — On Tuesday Aug. 10th the Port Authority responded to a phone call from St. Joseph’s Hospital with claims that a lady had called in and admitted to throwing a infant and 2 children off the Ben Franklin bridge in the early morning.
The search was called off later that afternoon after no real evidence was found.
No one has been able to locate the woman, but crews were out on the water searching since the early-morning calls came in. The U.S. Coast Guard was working with local law enforcement to try track down the caller so they can figure out if the report is true or not.
The Coast Guard is asking anyone with information to contact them at 215-271-4940.
Now lady, what the heck was going through your head to call in such a emergency? Only In Philadelphia!
