PHILADELPHIA, PA [OnlyInPhiladelphia.com] – Hasn’t Disney World always been known as the “happiest place on earth?”

Well, not according to one Philadelphia woman who claims that an actor in a Donald Duck costume touched her inappropriately while visiting Epcot Center in Walt Disney World back in May 2008. The case, originally a civil suit filed in December 2009, has now been moved to federal court.

April Magolon, 27, of Upper Darby approached the Donald Duck character to get an autograph and pose for a picture. According to the suit, she claims that at this point, “Donald Duck proceeded to grab [Magolon's] breasts and molest her and then made gestures making a joke indicating he had done something wrong.”

She is demanding $50,000 in damages due to “severe physical injury, emotional anguish and distress” resulting in anxiety, nausea, headaches, insomnia, flashbacks, and nightmares.

Interesting enough – since 2004, there have actually been 24 similar cases of sexually inappropriate behavior by costumed characters.

The moral of the story: beware of your favorite Disney characters; you don’t know who is really underneath that furry outfit
