Well the controversial Four Loko malt beverage may be off the shelves before you know it in Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania’s Liquor Control Board has asked any distributor to stop carrying sugary, caffeinated malt liquor drinks.
Four Loko alcoholic beverage was brought up specifically by the board’s spokeswoman, Stacey Witalec. She stated that there were several safety concerns sent to their officials last week.
Four Loko attracted attention after students were sickened by the consumption of Four Loko at a Central Washington University party last month.
The Liquor Control Board is waiting on a safety report from the Food and Drug Administration before determining if they should ban the product.
What the heck is this? Red Bull and Vodka has the same affect and is one of the most ordered drinks at the bar. Well maybe Four Loko should stick to just the energy drink if they are in fact banned from sale.
