Philadelphia's only Over 21 Outdoor Oasis

PHILADELPHIA, PA —Arrow Swim Club, the first over-21 members-only poolside oasis, is open in Northern Liberties.  The club is the first of its kind in the nation and provides Philadelphians a getaway without leaving the city.

Members of Arrow Swim Club have access to the club’s 1380 square foot pool all season long, as well as access to other stylish amenities. Around the pool, sunbathers are treated to luxury Balinese lounge chairs, portable sun umbrellas, oversized day beds, and complimentary plush towel service. Members enjoy poolside food and beverage service, live DJ and music, hammocks for lounging,  ping-pong tables and accessories, a shaded bar beneath the club’s upper level sundeck, a cozy fire-pit lounge, and a retail shop with exclusive product lines.  Arrow Swim Club is also equipped with therapeutic massage services and beauty services including manicures and facials that can all be enjoyed poolside or in the club’s spa rooms.

A fundamental part of the Arrow Swim Club experience is its luxury cabana program. The pool area is lined with lavish cabanas filled with VIP comforts such as a 32” flat screen television and blu-ray player, a laptop safe, mini-fridge, and an iPod dock with speakers—as well as lush seating for members and their guests. Through reserving a cabana, members will also have the ability to preselect DVDs, board games, a gaming system, video games, and beverages which will be stocked pre-arrival.

Nicole A. Cashman, President and CEO of Northern Liberties-based Cashman & Associates, has over 15 years of exceptional experience representing luxury brands in public relations and special events, both locally and nationally. “I wanted to blend my years of experience and start my own luxury brand. When Bart came to me with this opportunity, how could I resist?” explains Cashman.

Bart Blatstein, President of Tower Investments, is nationally recognized for the redevelopment of the Northern Liberties neighborhood including the 550 residential units and 150,000 square feet of commercial space that now exist there.

Award-winning design mastermind Chris Sheffield of SL Design was charged with the task of transforming the space, formerly occupied by Arrow Screw Company, into a sophisticated bohemian utopia. SL Design’s client portfolio includes American Fish in Las Vegas; 675 Bar in New York; Postcard Inn on the Beach on Florida’s Gulf Coast; and Bill’s Bar & Burger in New York’s Rockefeller Center.

Juan was charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and open lewdness.  He was arraigned in court today.

Rodriguez wasn’t protesting, he was just answering the challenge of British billionaire Alki David, who promised $1 million to the first person who streaked in front of the president to promote his website.

“That is absolutely right,” David, 42, told the Daily News Sunday night. “This is the first time anybody has attempted it. I still don’t know if he was successful. If he has done it, I’ll pay him in cash.”

In August, David issued his challenge on his website Battlecam.com, billed as an interactive reality TV channel and community.

“I have had it!!! The raccoons are multiplying..and this City is doing NOTHING! You cant even go out your door after dark without a large raccoon walking up to you! They think they are cats and will hang out with stray cats! Nutter will wait till the raccoons bite him on the a$ before he does something!
